Curbside Recycling Paused

Recycling Update: Curbside recycling is temporarily paused effective June 29, 2026, due to the Town’s recycling truck being out of service. Recycling carts placed at the curb during this time will be collected as trash. Residents may continue recycling by visiting the Anderson County Recycling Center at 600 East Queen Street.

Scarecrow Sign-Ups Open

Get creative and join the fun! Signups are now open through September 25, 2026. This year’s theme is Scarecrow's Salute America's 250th, and we can’t wait to see your ideas come to life.
Categories include: Judge’s Choice | Judge’s Choice Kids | People’s Choice
Scarecrows will be displayed around town beginning September 28 and completed by October 2—a perfect way to kick off the fall season!
