Recycling Update: Curbside recycling is temporarily paused effective June 29, 2026, due to the Town’s recycling truck being out of service. Recycling carts placed at the curb during this time will be collected as trash. Residents may continue recycling by visiting the Anderson County Recycling Center at 600 East Queen Street.

This year’s theme is Scarecrow's Salute America's 250th, and we can’t wait to see your ideas come to life.Categories include: Judge’s Choice | Judge’s Choice Kids | People’s ChoiceScarecrows will be displayed around town beginning September 28 and completed by October 2—a perfect way to kick off the fall season!

Keep Pendleton Beautiful organized a Community-Wide Clean Up on January 20, 2025, successfully collecting 60 bags of trash. This event included the participation of 32 volunteers from various community organizations, including Arthrex, First Baptist Church of Pendleton, Beta Club Volunteers, and Pendleton Elks Lodge 2861. The Town of Pendleton expresses gratitude to all the volunteers who braved the chilly morning to help clean up the town.
