| Zoning
The Town of Pendleton adopted a Zoning Ordinance
in 1984 and an updated Comprehensive Land Use Plan in April, 1999. The
Town is divided into different zoning classifications and allows various
permitted uses in each zone.
Prior to changing the existing use of any property,
check with the Assistant Zoning Administrator, Kris
Kurjiaka 864 646-9409.
Building
Permits/Mobile Home Permits
All persons, firms and corporations, whether individual
or otherwise wishing to erect a structure, add an addition to an existing
structure, or doing a remodeling or major renovation job on a existing
structure, must first obtain a Building
Permit Request Form from the Town of Pendleton.
The applicant must submit the form to Anderson
County to obtain a building/mobile home permit. The cost of the Building
Permit is based on the total cost of the project. A fee schedule may be
obtained from Anderson County Building and Codes Department.
