Pendleton Water Master Plan

In August, 2007, the town began implementing phase 11 of the water project as outlined in the Water Master Plan. The Project consists of Installation of approximately 21,000 feet of 6" waterlines, 17 fire hydrants, 152 new services and related appurtenances to provide adequate and reliable water delivery to all customers, address low system pressures and water quality to meet the State Primary Drinking Water Standards, and offer ample fire protection where deficient.

To aid in funding this project, the town acquired $500,000. from a Community Development Block Grant and $902,000. from Appalachian Regional Council Funds.
