FRIENDS of THE PARK
Friends of the Park is a group of interested citizens dedicated to making our Veterans Park the best it can be. Friends of the Park meets every third Monday at Pendleton United Methodist Church in the Social Hall. Everyone is welcome to join us. ALLIANCE of PENDLETON AREA CHURCHES
Many of the area churches participate in the Alliance of Pendleton Churches. Rev. Courtney Krueger coordinates monthly meetings with representatives from all area churches. The mission is to provide opportunities for worship, fellowship and missions for members of Pendleton area churches. Community services are planned throughout the year. PENDLETON AREA COUNCIL
A network of business managers and community leaders whose mission is to “advocate quality business diversity through free enterprise, sound business practice, fair competition, and diversity and to bring needed resources to Pendleton to support partnership organizations. PENDLETON FOUNDATION for BLACK HISTORY and CULTURE
A public service organization providing for the preservation of and education about significant African American historical resources in the Pendleton area and across the upstate of SC. For more information, contact M. Grant Cunningham at 864-646-1587.

PENDLETON GARDEN CLUB
The Pendleton Garden Club meets monthly to discuss plans and projects to help beautify Pendleton. Current projects include the Masonic Courtyard in downtown Pendleton. For more information, contact Lauren McGarry 864-324-4901

PENDLETON HISTORIC FOUNDATION
The Pendleton Historic Foundation owns, maintains and shows the Plantation House Museums, Woodburn and Ashtabula. The Foundation consists of a board of 16 individuals who maintain the houses and secure funding to keep the houses in good condition. A general membership meeting is held each spring to keep members informed of the business of the Foundation. For more information, call 864-646-7249.

PENDLETON PRIDE in MOTION
Pendleton Pride in Motion is a group of concerned citizens committed to making Pendleton a healthier place to live. The group formed four committees to address the focus areas; Beautification. Communications & Advocacy. Health, Education and Social Services. Community Progress and Smart Growth. A Coordinating Council governs the overall activity of the 501(c)3 organization. PENDLETON RECREATION ASSOCIATION
The Pendleton Recreation Association is a privately run non-profit association of area residents set up to provide recreation programs for the youth of Pendleton area. Youth programs offered include Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Football, Soccer and Softball. Call 864-646-9226 to sign up for programs!

BOY SCOUTS & CUB SCOUTS
Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of Pendleton meet Tuesday evenings at Pendleton United Methodist Church at 7PM. Richey Hunter, scoutmaster; Chris Slice, cubmaster.

S.O.U.P. Supper On Us Pendleton
